Children and young people up to their 15th birthday receive a 75 % discount for all performances at the Volksoper (maximum 3 children, only if accompanied by an adult).

Seat cushions for the youngest ones

For our youngest visitors, we offer an ideal view of the stage: Seat cushions for children can be borrowed for free from the cloakroom attendant and provide a comfortable elevation of the seats.

Family Pass

The Family Pass allows two adults and at least one child up to the age of 18 to attend a performance together at a particularly low price:

The first adult pays the full price,
the second receives a 50% discount,
the first child receives a ticket with a 75% discount,
the second child pays only € 1,- for the ticket.
From the third child onwards, the 75% reduction applies.

Available for € 30,- per season at the box office and online in our webshop.

To claim the family pass reduction, please use print@home for the family pass or pick the family pass up at the ticket offices. When booking online, please select the desired number of adult and children's tickets and enter the authentication code printed on your family pass in the "Aktioncode" field. When booking adult tickets in different price categories, the price of the cheaper ticket is automatically reduced.

Special reduction in September

Visit the Volksoper in September and get up to three children's tickets for the same performance for € 1 each when you buy a full-price ticket (valid for children up to their 15th birthday, excluding premieres).
