Jazzy New Year

Rebecca Nelsen is well known to the Volksoper audience. She has already sung Susanna, Mimì or Pamina and also performs contemporary music with world premieres such as Die letzte Verschwörung by composer Moritz Eggert. For this evening she slips into a completely different role and presents jazz standards in the foyer of the Volksoper. Whether "Fly me to the moon", "Gloomy Sunday" or "Summertime", this concert guarantees a relaxed start into the new year.

Béla Fischer will be at the piano. The pianist, composer and arranger is repetiteur of the Vienna State Ballet at the Volksoper and loves to stroll between genres. Together, the duo promises an unforgettable concert that is sure to get our audience grooving."
