When you visit our website, so-called server log files will be transmitted to us and stored on our server for a limited period of time (max. six months). The following data will be logged during that procedure: the IP address you used, your browser type and version, the operating system, visited websites, date and time of access, notification on a successful retrieval, quantity of the data sent in bytes, referrer URL (if the retrieval is made through a link). This information will be used for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, security and optimisation of the offer. No person-related analysis will be made. But, we reserve the right to assess this access data if we subsequently have a justified suspicion that they were used unlawfully.

Cookies are small text files that the browser places on your computer and which will temporarily be stored there. Cookies cause no damage and may not contain any virus or other harmful programs. The cookies used on our website exclusively help optimising the user-friendliness and security of this website.

You may choose in your browser settings whether cookies should be accepted, selected or rejected. Cookies which have already been stored can be deleted at any time. Please note, however, that you might be restricted in using this website when you deactivate cookies.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service operated by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses Cookies that process information on your use of this website e.g. time, location and how often you visit this website, including your IP address. This data will usually be transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there.

We activated IP anonymisation (“anonymizeIP”) on our website to protect your privacy. This means that your IP address will already be shortened by Google within the European Union member states or in other signatory states of the treaty on the European Economic Area so that it can no longer be related directly to any person. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Google uses this anonymised information for the purpose of compiling reports about website activities and to render other services on our behalf that are associated with the use of the website and the internet.

You may prevent that Google collects and processes the data generated by these Cookies by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link

Social Networks

In order to ensure that your data are protected in the best possible way when you visit our website, we only use links to the social networks, but no Social Media Plugins. That means that your data will only be transferred to the social networks, if you actively click on the relevant buttons. If, however, you do not click on the button, no data will be exchanged between you and the social networks. For information on the scope of the data that are collected and processed and on the use of the data by the social networks themselves, please refer to the data privacy notices of the providers:

Use of YouTube components with extended data protection mode

We use components of the company YouTube on our website for embedding videos. These videos are embedded in the “extended data protection modus” provided by YouTube. That ensures that information on the visit of the website will only be stored if you actually view a video. We have no control over any other data processing procedures performed by YouTube that are associated therewith. If you are simultaneously logged in to YouTube, this information will be allocated to your YouTube account. You may prevent that by logging out of your membership account before visiting our website.
