Last October, the premiere of the musical tick, tick... BOOM! at the Volksoper was celebrated with standing ovations. Inspired by his own biography, Jonathan Larson tells the story of his path to success, which is sometimes rocky and not always straightforward. One thing is often missing: the stage to present one's own music. In the spirit of the musical's success, we open the stage of the foyer to singer-songwriters from Vienna and the surrounding area, giving them the opportunity to introduce themselves to an audience in an unplugged setting.
