Musical Karaoke

After the tremendous success of the first karaoke nights at the Volksoper last season, we not only continue, but also aim to make it even bigger, more beautiful, and more glamorous. For the upcoming edition, we have invited a true karaoke expert: Ryta Tale. Ryta Tale is a successful Vienna-based drag queen who has established herself as the 'Hostess with the mostess' for karaoke every week. She is known, sometimes in drag and sometimes as Michael Postmann, for gracing the musical stage of the Volksoper in productions such as La Cage aux Folles and West Side Story.

So, who could be better to host the Musical Karaoke on the rehearsal stage of the Volksoper? If you've ever wanted to sing your favorite hits from Rent, Chicago, or Flashdance at the top of your lungs, now is your chance. Make Saturday, the 13th, your lucky day at the microphone!

When the audience is not on stage, members of the Volksoper ensemble will showcase their talents – perhaps even with a number that has never been heard from them before.
