The Christmas Concert at the Volksoper is a long-standing tradition, cherished alike by our artists and by you, our loyal audience. This year’s programme once again blends the reflective and the festive: from celebrated works by W. A. Mozart and Francis Poulenc’s resounding Gloria, to orchestral highlights from West Side Story and The Nutcracker, as well as beloved Christmas songs from across the globe. Together, these works unite cultures, generations and voices in a joyful celebration on our stage. Spend an unforgettable evening with family and friends as we welcome the holiday season together and celebrate the enduring message of love and peace in your opera house.

With the Volksoper Wien Orchestra, soloists from the Ensemble and STUDIO V!, and the Chorus, Children’s Chorus and Youth Chorus.
Musical direction: Johann Sebastian Guzman
