Beginning with the 2022/23 season, the Volksoper Wien and the Wiener Festwochen will launch an artistic partnership that will enable outstanding performances beyond all narrow genre boundaries. The Wiener Festwochen is one of the most important art and culture festivals that develops perspectives for the present and the future throughout the city.
Vienna Pride
Volksoper is pleased to be a strong partner for the LGBTIQA* community and to provide a great home for a diverse scene. Starting with the 2022/23 season, we are therefore entering into a cooperation with Vienna Pride. Vienna Pride is the organiser of the two-week LGBTIQA* event in Vienna, which concludes with the annual Rainbow Parade. From now on, we will be working together on exciting projects that invite a diverse audience to our house.
