Whether you take part in a workshop, solve a puzzle at a performance or take a look behind the scenes as a Newcomer, you will find all this and much more on these pages, because: YOU HAVE TO DO THEATRE!

Newcomer
Are you between 15 and 25 years old and eager to learn more about opera & co? We'll take you behind the scenes!
As Newcomers, we offer you a special theatre experience: we attend a performance together at reduced prices, including pre- or post-show preparation and a backstage visit.
Several times a season we will inform you by e-mail about possible dates! If you are interested in becoming a Young Volksoper Newcomer, please register at junge@volksoper.at.
Children's puzzle
In our children's puzzle performances, young music theatre fans can take a close look at a selected production using a puzzle sheet.
A synopsis designed for young audiences helps to solve the questions and thus makes even complex performances understandable for children.
As a reward, all those who hand in a completed questionnaire will receive a sweet surprise will receive a sweet surprise and take part in a raffle.

The Children's Choir and Youth Choir of the Volksoper will perform in the 2023/24 season in several productions. We are ver proud, that the youngest member of the Volksoper are a vital part of our performances!
