Trevor Hayden

The American Trevor Hayden received his education at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C. Since the 2010/11 season he is a member of the Vienna State Ballet. His most important roles comprise Max in »Max und Moritz« by Ferenc Barbay and Michael Kropf, Bernard de Ventadour in Rudolf Nureyev’s »Raymonda«, Chinese Dance in Nureyev’s » The Nutcracker«, Polish Dance in Nureyev’s »Swan Lake«, Faschingstanz in John Cranko’s »Romeo und Julia«, fiancé in Pierre Lacotte’s »Coppélia«, Peasant-Pas de deux in Elena Tschernischovaʼs »Giselle«, Gamache in Rudolf Nureyev’s »Don Quixote« and the Diamant variation in Martin Schläpfer's »The Sleeeping Beauty«. He also danced parts in William Forsythe’s »The Second Detail« and »Artifact Suite«, George Balanchine’s »Tarantella«, »Jewels« (Rubies), »Allegro Brilliante« and »Symphony in C«, Jean-Christophe Maillot’s »Vers un Pays Sage«, András Lukács’ »Movements to Stravinsky«, Jerome Robbins’ »The Concert«, Jiří Kylián’s »Symphony of Psalms«, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's »Große Fuge«, Paul Taylor's »Promethean Fire« and works by Jiří Bubeníček, Pierre Lacotte, Manuel Legris, Edwaard Liang, John Neumeier, Roland Petit, Jerome Robbins and Twyla Tharp. Furthermore, he performed in creations by Natalia Horecna, Ashley Page and Pontus Lidberg. For »Junge Talente des Wiener Staatsballetts II« in 2015 he created his first choreography »Double Date«, in 2017 he created »Pas de Sang« for »Young Choreographers« of the Ballettclub Wiener Staatsoper & Volksoper. For »Plattform Choreographie« of the Vienna State Ballet followed »Lost & Found« in June 2022 and »Wanted« in December 2022.
