Anne Harvey-Nagl

Anne Harvey-Nagl studied in her home city of Melbourne and in Vienna with Prof Günter Pichler. In 1986 she won the National Youth Concerto Competition Brisbane, in 1990 she won an ANZ scholarship abroad.
She has lived in Vienna since 1991, where she has since played with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Mozart Orchestra and the Klangforum. Since 1992 she has been a member of the Koehne Quartet and numerous other chamber music formations. In 1999 she was engaged as principal first violin in the Vienna Volksoper Orchestra and has been concertmaster since 2011. She has made guest appearances with the SWR Symphonieorchester Stuttgart, Royal Flemish Philharmonic Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Europe and as concertmaster with the Vienna Opera Ball Orchestra, Ensemble Kontrapunkte, Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra and the Beethoven Philharmonie Baden.
