Laura Cislaghi

Laura Cislaghi was born in Cuggiono (Italy). She was educated at the Scuola di Ballo del Teatro alla Scala and the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera. Since 2016 she is a member of the Vienna State Ballet. Her most important appearances include the night in Pierre Lacotteʼs »Coppélia«, roles in the world premiere of Pontus Lidberg's »Between Dogs and Wolves«, William Forsytheʼs »In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated«, Lucinda Child's »Concerto« and in Merce Cunningham's »Duets«. Furthermore she was dancing the solo elf in Thierry Malandain’s »Cendrillon« and parts in William Forsythe’s »Artifact Suite«, Rudolf Nureyev‘s »The Nutcracker« and »Swan Lake«, George Balanchine’s »Jewels« and »Symphony in C«, Manuel Legris’ »Le Corsaire« and »Sylvia«, John Neumeier’s »Le Sacre«, John Cranko’s »Onegin«, Pierre Lacotteʼs »Coppélia«, Jerome Robbins’ »Glass Pieces« and »The Concert«, Paul Taylor's »Promethean Fire« as well as works by Martin Schläpfer such as a page and the cat in »The Sleeping Beauty«.
