Vladyslav Bosenko

Vladyslav Bosenko, born in Ukraine, received his training at the Kyiv State Ballet Academy, graduating in 2017. He began his professional career as leading soloist at the National Opera of Kharkiv before joining the National Opera of Ukraine in Kyiv in 2019, where he performed a wide range of classical and neoclassical solo roles. Since August 2022 he has been a soloist with the Ballet of the Slovak National Theatre. In the 2025/26 season, he joined the Vienna State Ballet as a soloist.

He performed in leading roles with the Slovak National Theatre Ballet such as the title role in John Crankoʼs Onegin, Siegfried in Rudolf Nureyev’s Swan Lake, Lescaut in Kenneth MacMillan’s Manon, Albert in Giselle, Colas in Frederick Ashton’s La Fille mal gardée, the Prince in The Nutcracker and the pas de deux from Esmeralda

Further highlights of his repertoire include Bluebird in The Sleeping Beauty, Basilio in Don Quixote, Lankedem in Le Corsaire, two friends in Raymonda, James in La Sylphide, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet and Frollo in Notre-Dame de Paris. He has also danced numerous pas de deux, including Flames of Paris, Diana and Acteon and Satanella, as well as roles in works by John Neumeier.

In 2019 Vladyslav Bosenko won the International Ballet Competition Tanzolymp in Berlin.
