Yelyzaveta Lazovska
Yelyzaveta Lazovska, a native of Ukraine, began her professional dance training from 2016 to 2021 at the Kyiv State Ballet School. From 2021 to 2024, she continued her studies at the Zurich Dance Academy under the direction of Steffi Scherzer and Oliver Matz, and later under Jason Beechey.
Since 2024, she has been a member of the Zurich Ballet Junior Company under the direction of Cathy Marston. With Ballet Zurich, she has performed in numerous productions, including Vesige by Dani Rowe, Atonement, Mrs. Robinson, and Clara by Cathy Marston, Concerto by Kenneth MacMillan, Emergence by Crystal Pite, Giselle by Patrice Bart, and Glass Pieces by Jerome Robbins. In addition, she has performed with the Zurich Dance Academy in works such as Scotch Symphonie and Valse Fantasie by George Balanchine, the pas de deux from Hamlet by Cathy Marston, and Napoli by August Bournonville. Her repertoire is further enriched by works in the Gaga style, including Echad Mi Yodea from Decadance by Ohad Naharin and Bolero X by Shahar Binyamini.
She participated in the Prix de Lausanne 2024 and, in 2020, in the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), where she was selected among the Top 12 in the classical ballet category.
Since 6 March 2026, Yelyzaveta Lazovska has been a member of the Corps de ballets of the Vienna State Ballet (sick leave replacement).
