What role can/should music theatre play in today’s society?
The role it has always achieved, to entertain in its special way, to be this amazing world apart that you enter for a few hours, to make people enjoy from all it has to offer!
Prima la musica oder prima le parole?
Even though you can make music without them, words give an especial intention, a channeled force, and feeling; hence, in my current opinion: prima le parole!
Singing: Competitive sport or sacred calling?
It is an absolute sacred calling; from conception, everything is competition in our lives, so though it is a part of the career, I could never box it into it. Singing is far more; singing is a path for me, a path that, ever since I followed, has brought me purpose and deep joy (and also a beautiful family).

Collaborations that shaped you as an artist
Being completely honest, I've learned from every person I've come across working at theaters: opera singers, actors, directors, conductors, musicians, and staff even. I will call them collaborations since I'm starting into this career and have not shared a stage for more than one phrase or a word even (looking at you, Brühlmann from Werther) nor have specific collaborations to mention.
