You can easily purchase your tickets online in our webshop. There, you have the option to receive your ticket(s) as an e-ticket, which you can present on your mobile phone. This way, you avoid waiting times at the ticket counter.
Advance sales information
From the first day of each month (except Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays) tickets for all performances are on sale for the whole of the following month. This means that from the beginning of September you can buy tickets for performances up until the end of October. Tickets for September can already be bought from the beginning of June onwards.
Tickets cannot be exchanged or returned.
Order and purchase of tickets are subject to the General Terms and Conditions as well as the Privacy Notice.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to buy tickets for our performances! Our webshop is intuitive and offers a variety of options for purchasing tickets. All questions regarding registration, ticket purchases, and discounts have been clearly compiled here for you.
Written ticket orders
Written orders can be placed until the 25th of the month before last. You will receive confirmation or rejection and further information as soon as possible.
Buy tickets by phone with credit card
From the first day of advance sales, daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at +43 1 513 1 513.
Standing-room tickets and wheelchair seats cannot be purchased by phone. We accept the following credit cards: American Express, Diners Club, JCB, Mastercard, and Visa.
Buy tickets at the box office
You can buy your tickets at all advance sales box offices of Austrian Federal Theatres [Bundestheater].
Voucher
Vouchers from the Vienna Volksoper are the perfect gift! Recipients can attend performances from our repertoire according to their own preferences.
Vouchers in the value of your choice are available at the box office of the Volksoper, at the Bundestheater box offices, by phone with credit card (+43 1 513 1 513), as well as via our webshop.
